Overview
UNSW approached Ivory Media to create a testimonial video for their Career Discovery Mentoring Program (CDMP) 2024, aiming to encourage graduates to register as mentors. The video needed to showcase the program’s benefits, highlight mentor-mentee experiences, and motivate alumni to participate in mentoring students.
Approach
We collaborated closely with UNSW’s Alumni team to develop a comprehensive video plan. Interview questions were crafted for mentors and mentees to address specific client requirements – such as providing an overview of the CDMP; illustrating the transformative power of mentoring; profiling program participants; and encouraging alumni to become mentors. After extensive recceing Ivory booked a visually appealing space at UNSW for the shoot and secured additional equipment to ensure high-quality production.
Outcome
On the day of the shoot, Ivory’s team made sure to provide a comfortable and relaxed environment for all participants. We directed the talent to ensure the capturing of compelling responses that aligned with the project’s goals.
The resulting video successfully met all of the client’s objectives, providing an engaging overview of the CDMP and highlighting the positive impact of mentoring on students’ lives. Our client expressed deep satisfaction with the final product, indicating that our execution of the project was overwhelmingly successful in achieving its intended purpose.
