Overview
At Ivory Media we have a long history of engagement with UNSW’s Division of Equity Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), so when they asked us if we could visually capture their fabulous Diversity Fest we jumped at it! We love capturing amazing events via video and photography, and Diversity Fest is a spectacular example of a collaborative community-based event, where everyone contributes to celebrating and supporting diversity in all its myriad forms.
Approach
Working closely with the EDI team we drew up a detailed plan to ensure each of the many amazing activities and talks would have their chance to shine. This included specifics around opportunities for photography and video overlay, as well as suggestions for interviews and other visual “must-haves”.
The event ran all day at multiple locations around the campus, so it was “all hands on deck!” for our video & photography crew, while our in-house producer kept everything smoothly running on schedule.
Outcome
The resulting Diversity Fest highlights video was extremely well received and along with our stunning photography portfolio will be used as promotional collateral for Diversity Fest 2024.
