Overview
At Ivory Media, nothing gets us excited more than developing a creative vision with our clients and then bringing it to life. We were recently approached by Blackwoods – Australia’s giant supplier of industrial and safety products – to help launch their Workhorse range of wet weather workwear.
Naturally, we were thrilled to be a part of such a significant campaign and immediately got to work. We knew that the key to success was creating a hero video that would capture the essence of Workhorse and showcase their commitment to quality and innovation.
Approach
To make it happen, we undertook our thorough production process, which involved synthesising market research and understanding the target audience and creative trends. We worked to devise an execution that would align with Workhorse’s brand values and resonate with their audience.
We assembled a team of exceptional vendors, cinematographers, gaffers, and hair & make-up professionals. We coordinated each department across multiple meetings, location scouts and briefings, culminating in a single successful shoot day on location at Blackwoods’ Greystaynes warehouse – a location that added authenticity to the end products and helped keep the costs down.
Editing, motion graphics and colour grading were completed in-house at Ivory.
Outcome
Blackwoods were thrilled with the resultant hero video which garnered over 200k views on YouTube and a record number of repostings on LinkedIn. The combination of video and photography helped to provide a significant uptick in sales and engagement with the brand.
Blackwoods were so impressed with our work they invited us back for a second stint to showcase their summer stretch workwear range!
